The two-car garage is the most popular size we build — footprints from 24×24 to 24×32, and wider as the bays need it. And because there's room to spare, most people want something above those two cars: nothing, a bonus-room loft, or a real second floor.
How to choose
Car count picks the footprint. The type picks what you get above it.
At two cars you're deciding what the space above does for you. A loft is the favorite middle ground; a second floor turns the garage into rooms. Or keep it simple with nothing up top at all.
Single-Level
Two cars, parked clean.
A straightforward 2-car building on a poured concrete floor. Pick your doors — two bays or one wide — and put them on the gable end or the eave side.

The most popular loft size. Room-in-attic trusses carry a loft the full length at roughly half the width — storage, a workshop, or a gym above two cars.

We build the weather-tight exterior shell — framing, roof, siding, windows, doors. Interior finishing beyond that is up to you: frame interior walls, insulate, wire, finish — do it yourself, or hire your own finish carpenter. We leave you a clean, ready space; what happens inside it is yours to decide.

The footprints that honestly carry two cars

| 24 × 28 / 24 × 32 | Extra width for roomier bays and workspace. Still honestly a two-car. |
| 24 × 36 | Two cars up front plus a 12×24 bonus section at the back — storage or a workshop, not a parking bay. |
| 20 × 20 / 22 × 22 | Too tight for average cars. They look fine on paper and feel wrong every day — we recommend against. |
If “two cars plus a third bay” is what you're after, that's a three-car garage — 30 to 36 feet wide, 24 deep, doors on the eave side. 24×32 stays a two-car with storage.
